Our work and our workplace can have a big impact on our physical and mental wellbeing; we spend on average a third of our day at work. CHIP in response to enquiries from the private sector now offer a Corporate Health Package aimed at promoting health and wellness in the workplace. The activities on offer encourage staff to adopt healthier lifestyles through positive change both at work and in their home life.

Healthworks – Our Package
Healthworks allows you to build a personalised health programme tailored for your workplace, choosing from:-

• Four levels of personal health checks (MOTs)
• Two levels of Health Fair
• Cholesterol check
• Six options for interactive health improvement presentations and health awareness displays

All our activities can be personally tailored to your exact requirements and needs, try a one off activity or build a full programme throughout the year, whatever your requirements we will aim to custom the programme to the exact wishes of your workplace.

Presentations
Our consultant will deliver an interactive presentation relating to your chosen topic and will gladly take any questions that arise throughout the presentation. This is a good way to encourage staff to explore health issues as an individual or group.

Health Awareness Displays
Similar to the presentations our consultant will man a display relating to your chosen topic and will be happy to give advice or answer any questions staff may have on the subject. The display can also be left on site with relevant information on hand allowing staff to collect it when convenient.

Health Fairs
Health Fairs are an informative and interactive activity which allows your staff to learn and explore health issues at our various lifestyle stations. Staff can choose to have a health MOT, a 15 minute relaxation session, test their stress levels, receive activity advice or take the healthy eating challenge.

Stations include:

o Height and weight check
o Blood pressure station
o Stress awareness
o Healthy eating
o Exercise and activity station
o Fitness testing

A Health Fair provision allows you to maximise the potential for staff to look at lifestyle issues in the workplace setting, and it cal also be opened up to your clients, staff's family or even the local community. The Fair can take place over lunchtime, before or after working hours or set up during the working day.

The Chip Van
Our Mobile Healthy Living Centre (CHIP Van) can also be on site to act as a consultation room for the health check provision if your office space is at a premium.
The vehicle provides information on health related topics and can act as a drop in centre with a signposting service for other health services such as smoking cessation, mental health, sexual health and counselling services. The consultation area can also be used as an on-site massage or reflexology area allowing the session to be completely personal and undisturbed.
